Topeka Zoo

While my mom was here for Spring Break we went to the Topeka Zoo.  After four straight days of rain we were ready for some outside time!!

Baby Shower

My wonderful friends here in Manhattan threw me an awesome baby shower last weekend!  Thank you so much Debby, Robin and Shauna!!  I have some amazing friends!

Congratulations!

A big huge congratulations to my sister Megan, brother-in-law Eric and big sister Leighton on their new addition!!  Baby boy Grayler Everett Nakpil born on March 1, 2012!

Silver Dollar City

For the second year in a row we decided to make the trip down to Branson, Missouri to go see the lights at Silver Dollar City.  We always have a good time seeing all the decorations, enjoying seeing them make the homemade products and riding on some rides.  We also decided to go again since we don't know if we will ever make it back up this way again.  We were there right before Christmas - the 22nd and 23rd of December.

Pillsbury Crossing

We decided on the spur of the moment to try to go out and find Pillsbury Crossing - this is an area where we have heard that many people go to have pictures taken.  Even though it was the 18th of December we decided to give it a try.  We had a great time hiking (a very small hike), throwing rocks into the water and all the boys had fun crossing the river.  All of them ended up with wet feet - smart mommy not to cross the water :)  We are going to have to go back in the spring - I think that with all the green on the trees it will be beautiful.
