Luke's 6th Birthday

We had a nice friends and family party for Luke this year at Gymnastics Plus - the kids all had a great time playing and eating cake.  These are some pictures from our house with just family opening presents and getting a yummy cupcake!

Halloween 2011

Pictures of the boys from Halloween.   We went trick-or-treating three times this year and dressed up for a party!  I think we were all ready to be done with the costumes but the time Halloween actually got here.

This has got to be on of my all time favorite costume pictures of the boys!  It is taken at the Sunset Zoo here in Manhattan.

Konza Prairie

The same day we played Frisbee Golf we also went on a hike in the Konza Prairie - it was a beautiful day in Kansas for the end of October.  So warm in fact that the boys insisted on taking off their shirts and folding up their pants!

November Update

Here are some pictures from November.  The big thing that we did was go to Mike's brother Danny's wedding to Katie in Las Vegas.  We had a great time there celebrating with our new family member :)

The boys had a great time when we went to see the Blue Man Group.

At our first rest stop on our trek up to Turtlehead Peak in Red Rock Canyon just outside of Las Vegas.  It was the only strenuous hike in the whole park.

A picture from the peak - we all made it!  The boys did great and got to sign their first peak book at the top. 5 miles and a gain of 2,000 ft.
